Robert M.  Nocket
Robert M. " Rob " Nocket, age 63, of Clinton Corners, died suddenly on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Northern Dutchess Hospital Rhinebeck , NY. Rob was born June 29, 1953 in Albany, NY. He is the son of the late Thomas J. and the late Mary Elizabeth (Starr) Nocket.

Rob worked for Local 21 Plumber/Steamfitter Union.

He was a local resident most of his life previously from Albany, NY. He was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, a member of Holy Trinity Church, Local 21 Pipe and Drums and the Plumbers and Steamfitters Golf League.

Rob (known as “Bob”) to his friends was well loved by them. He kept in contact with many of his long time friends from childhood and beyond. He was involved in little league for many years and devoted many hours of his time in support of various charities.

He was a son, devoted father, brother and uncle and loved his many nieces and nephews. He always loved spending time with and entertaining children.

Rob was a avid New York Sports Fan, he loved the Yankees, Giants and NY Rangers. He loved to golf, liked going to the gym and riding his bike on the rail trail and walkway.

He is survived by his son Paul Robert Nocket of Camarillo, CA; former wife Judy; sisters: Kathryn Nocket of Hyde Park, NY and Mary Beth Nocket of Hyde Park, NY, brothers Thomas Nocket and his wife Patricia of Staatsburg, NY; Michael Nocket of Poughkeepsie, NY ; Edward Nocket and his companion Mary Vogel of Poughkeepsie, NY; John Nocket and his wife Angela of Highland, NY.: and his nieces and nephews, Christopher and his wife Alycia, Taylor, Casey, P.J., Tommy, Amber, Heather and Dara.

Calling hours will be Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 3pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie NY.

Memorial Donations can be made to the American Heart Association 301 Manchester Road #105 Poughkeepsie, New York.
